Faith’s War

faithreason

Don’t misunderstand me.

I’m not against religion.  How could I?

What I’ve been trying to tell you is quite the opposite. Religion is true. Every religion and god exists.

And because of that there is a war. But it isn’t a war between Religion and Science, or between gods. It’s a war of Faiths.

religion-vs-scienceWhat you have to understand is that every belief, every faith fights for you to believe in them. And it is a cruel war, a dirty fight.

Why do you think that Europeans celebrate Saint John during the summer solstice?

Or why Christmas it is celebrated during the winter solstice when Jesus was born in February?

Because Christianity created those festivities the same days so you forgot those “pagan” holydays where witches danced under the red moon in the warm nights of summer around piles of fire and the long nights of winter when dark shadows feed your terrors and nightmares.

And so God had more believers and more power over the face of the world.

Those are our weapons.

And you are our ammo.

So, don’t forget it.

You’re the fuel that feed our fire.

So keep believing… in whatever you want, but keep believing.
